LET’S GET YOU TO THE GOOD PART
Less troubleshooting. More watching.
Start with a short personal video that plays on your phone, then test your compatible display. For server problems, check the server address and sign-in. For downloaded videos, confirm the download is complete. The compatibility guide covers car-screen setup.
I need help getting a picture on my car screen.
Confirm that the vehicle or receiver supports video output, then select it in Dashow while parked. Try a short unprotected video first. If it plays on your phone but not on the selected screen, check the receiver’s connection instructions and supported formats.
For Cast to Car, stop the previous broadcast after a connection change, select your display again, and start a fresh session. If only one app’s protected video is affected, check the app’s restrictions on external playback or recording.
My video, playlist, or server isn’t loading.
For a server, check that the address is reachable from your phone and that your account still has access. Reconnect the source if sign-in needs to be renewed. Streaming outside your home depends on your server’s remote access setup.
For M3U, use a valid playlist from a source you can access. For a video link, provide a direct supported media URL. For a saved item, confirm the import or download finished, then test playback on your device before selecting an external display.
I need help with an App Store purchase.
For help with a purchase or restoring access, email hello@eversight.io. Tell us what you expected to see and what appears in the app, so we can help you find the next step.
Include the app version and a brief description of the issue. Please leave passwords, payment-card details, and private media out of your message.
Tell us where the story stopped.
Email hello@eversight.io and tell us where you got stuck. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Dashow version, and car or receiver model. If this is a playback question, mention whether the same video plays on your phone.
A short description of the source type helps: an imported file, Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, a playlist, or screen sharing. Keep passwords, server tokens, and private media out of the message.
