Bring Instagram Reels and the posts you want to share to a compatible car display with Dashow. Open Cast to Car, choose your display, start screen sharing, then open Instagram on your iPhone. Browse and control the app on your phone while the selected display shows your shared screen in park.

Open the exact Instagram video you want to show and finish account steps first.

Once parked and connected, open Dashow → Cast to Car → Display.

Check the picture and audio, replay the good part, and stop the broadcast when done.
Start with the one that made you think of them.
A Reel often arrives with a reason to share it: a restaurant for tomorrow, an idea for your next trip, or a video that only needs a little more screen space to make its point. Open that item before beginning the car display setup. It gives the shared moment a clear start.
If the clip was sent in a message, navigate to the video before broadcasting rather than leaving the conversation as the first thing on screen. This keeps the focus on what you wanted to show and avoids making the search for it part of the presentation.
Keep the frame and the captions intact.
A vertical Reel can leave space at the sides of a wide display. That is a useful way to keep the full picture, especially when captions or important details sit near the edges. Avoid treating a completely filled dashboard as the measure of a good result.
Listen to the first few seconds too. Music, speech, and timing are often part of the clip’s point. Check audio on the receiver and use a comfortable volume for the parked setting before sharing the part you came to watch.
Wide videos can fill more of your car display. Vertical clips keep their original proportions, with space at the sides.
Find the right fit for your screenPrepare the phone as well as the video.
Finish sign-ins, close private content, and consider a Focus mode before starting the broadcast. Screen sharing can include the phone’s visible interface as you move between apps. A prepared Reel is a cleaner starting point than an account screen or an open conversation.
When you have finished the clip, stop the system broadcast. A short, intentional session makes this useful for a pickup wait or a few minutes before leaving a campsite, without requiring the whole break to become a browsing session.
Use a known clip to check a missing picture.
If Instagram’s interface appears but a particular video does not, try a personal video in the same sharing flow. A source can permit some visible content and restrict another part. Dashow cannot override a source’s capture decision, so the comparison helps identify what changed.
If nothing appears on the display, return to Dashow, confirm the selected car under Display, and start a fresh broadcast after reconnecting. Also check that the Reel plays normally on iPhone before adding the receiver to the test.
